A comedy-drama selected as Indonesia's entry for Best International Feature Film at the 95th Academy Awards in 2023. Mr. and Mrs. Domu live with their daughter Sarma, but they long for their three other children, Domu, Gabe, and Sahat, to come back to their hometown. Unfortunately, the three siblings refuse to return due to their strained relationship with their father. Desperate to bring their family together, the parents come up with a plan: they pretend to fight and threaten divorce, hoping to get their children's attention and convince them to come back home.

Director | Bene Dion Rajagukguk

Bene Dion Rajagukguk, S.T. (b. 1990, Dolok Masihul, Indonesia) made his directorial debut with the 2019 film Ghost Writer, produced by Ernest Prakasa and Chand Parwez Servia. Before directing films, Bene was also a comedian, screenwriter and actor. His 2022 film, Ngeri Ngeri Sedap (Missing Home), is based on his 2014 book of the same title. He also wrote several episodes for Ernest Prakasa’s XL 2econd Chance (2014-2015) YouTube miniseries, and has crafted several comedic scripts for television and the cinema.
