M, driven by the desire for a multimillion-dollar inheritance, puts aside his dreams as a hopeful game caster to care for his terminally ill grandmother. However, winning Grandma's favour is no easy feat. She proves to be a tough nut to crack – demanding, exacting, and exceedingly difficult to please. To add to the drama, he's not the only one gunning for the inheritance. M finds himself embroiled in a gripping competition, where he must go to great lengths to become the apple of Grandma’s eye before time runs out, all in pursuit of a life-changing, multimillion-dollar inheritance. The producers of the hugely popular Bad Genius (2017) team up with all-round heartthrob Billkin, making his big screen debut, to create this blockbuster.

Pat Boonnitipat is a Thai film director working primarily in television and documentary series, specialising in teenage stories. He is known for Diary of Tootsies (as director) and Project S: The Series (as writer and dirctor). His breakthrough came in 2020, when producers Jira Maligool and Vanridee Pongsittisak approached him about the possibility of remaking and adapting the global hit Thai film, Bad Genius (2017) into a television series. The series won Best TV Drama/Series, Best Screenplay and Best Director at the 17th Komchadluek Awards and Creative Beyond Border Award at the 2021 Asia Contents Awards. Noticing his sensitive approach to directing actors, the producers of Bad Genius teamed up with him once again on How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies (2024), which is his directorial feature debut. The film immediately topped the box office and is ranked the 11th highest grossing local Thai film in history.
